Single of the Week Pick: “Heart on Fire” by Midnight Till Morning

“This week’s pick burns bright,” Cavazos Woloszyk announced, brimming with excitement. “Heart on Fire is the kind of song that captures that electric rush of falling for someone who lights up your world.”

The discovery, she explained, came serendipitously via a Facebook ad. “I saw this clip and thought, ‘These guys look really familiar!’ Then it hit me — they’re from Netflix’s Building the Band! I loved that show,” she said.

The group — Conor Smith, Mason Watts, Shane Appell, and Zach Newbould — first came together as solo contestants on the hit Netflix reality series, which was judged in part by the late Liam Payne. Though the foursome finished in fourth place, Cavazos Woloszyk always believed they had something special.

“Each member brought a unique voice and energy,” she noted. “They’ve created what I like to call pop-rock magic.”

The track, produced by Joshua Murty and Robby De Sa, with co-writers Adam Yaron, Felli Ferraro, Castle, and Adam Yaron, shines as the standout single from the band’s debut album “After Glow,” released earlier this month. Cavazos Woloszyk praised its “smooth harmonies, crisp pop production, and an irresistible chorus that sticks with you long after the first listen.”

“‘Heart on Fire’ proves that Midnight Till Morning are more than just a product of a TV show,” she said. “They’re a band with staying power — and heart.”

Adding to the excitement, Cavazos Woloszyk revealed that the band will be performing in Chicago on October 27 at Talia Hall, as part of their U.S. tour before heading to the UK in early 2026.
