From Boy Band to American Idol Setback, to The Voice Success

Semple, a Northern Irish singer-songwriter and talented instrumentalist, first rose to fame as a member of the boy band One True Voice, winning the reality TV show “Popstars The Arrivals” back in 2002.

After the band disbanded, Semple embarked on a solo career before finding his place as a lead singer in the local Chicago band Seventh Heaven in 2006. However, his journey didn’t end there. In 2010, he tried his luck on American Idol but could not participate due to legal restrictions and residency concerns.

Undeterred by this setback, Semple formed his own band, aptly named Semple, in 2012. Throughout his career, he made waves, auditioning for season 9 of The Voice in 2015 and making it to the top 24 as part of Team Adam Levine. Keith’s standout performance with fellow contestant Manny Cabo, as they performed a breathtaking rendition of The Who’s “Teenage Wasteland,” solidified their friendship and mutual support.

Keith Semple: The Rising Star of Rock Delivers Exhilarating Music and Nostalgic Vibes

In 2016, Semple ventured into the world of progressive rock and formed the band The Cyberiam, where he showcased his skills as a lead vocalist and guitarist. The release of his latest single, “Wrong Turn,” in December 2020 further cemented his musical prowess.

Currently, Keith Semple is rocking the stage with his band Semple, delivering an exhilarating mix of original songs, ’70s rock classics, and modern pop hits. In addition to Semple, the band consists of Josh Patterson on bass, Johnny Jannotti on drums, and Tom Feron on lead guitar.

Diana’s single of the week, “Game Over,” was co-written by Semple and his talented bandmates Johnny Jannotti and Joshua Patterson. The track exudes a funky Nile Rodgers vibe with its infectious rhythm and nostalgic feel. Fans are also urged to check out the accompanying music video, which immerses viewers in the world of arcade gaming, adding a whole new level of excitement to the experience.

With his diverse musical background and undeniable talent, Keith Semple proves time and time again that he is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
