Get ready to be blown away by the electrifying review of ‘To Fix Us’ by synth-pop legends Farrington+Mann! Former members of When In Rome, these guys are back and better than ever.
Extra, extra! Read all about it! The sensational music reviewer, Diana Cavazos Woloszyk, has once again wowed listeners with her electrifying review of ‘To Fix Us’ by the legendary Clive Farrington and Andrew Mann, collectively known as Farrington+Mann!
You might remember this dynamic duo from their days as original members of the synth-pop/new wave sensation, When In Rome. Ah, those were the days! Their 1988 single “The Promise” took the world by storm, becoming an international hit that rocked dance floors around the globe.
But wait, there’s more! Not only did “The Promise” make its mark on the charts, but it also found its way into the iconic film “Napoleon Dynamite” back in 2004. And they also caused a stir on the increasingly addictive TikTok platform. These guys are truly timeless!
Diana Review – Farrington and Mann Ginger and Nuts
Fast forward to today, and When In Rome has transformed into the unstoppable force that is Farrington+Mann. Since 2019, they’ve been shaking up the music scene with their sensational sound and infectious beats.
And just when you thought they couldn’t get any cooler, they went and collaborated with none other than the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and Slovenia Symphonic Film Orchestra in 2020, releasing a mind-blowing 30th-anniversary orchestral edition of “The Promise” on both CD and vinyl. Talk about taking it to the next level!
As if that wasn’t enough, Clive Farrington had another trick up his musical sleeve! On May 10, 2016, he joined forces with Pat Flanagan to publish his autobiography, aptly titled “Confessions of a One Hit Wonder: ‘The Promise’ … And the Aftermath.” This man knows how to keep us on the edge of our seats!
But the real hero of this story is none other than our very own Diana Cavazos Woloszyk, the reigning queen of Chicago music reviews.
Week after week, she never fails to captivate her audience with her witty insights and spot-on critiques. Her words have a magical way of painting a picture of sound, making us all feel like we’re living in a music-filled dream.
We can’t help but wonder, what will this music oracle grace us with next? Will she lead us to undiscovered musical realms or uncover hidden gems that will blow our minds?
Stay tuned for Diana Cavazos Woloszyk’s next masterpiece of a review. Because when it comes to music, she’s the conductor of our hearts and souls. Rock on, Diana.
