Reflecting on his 65 years in the music industry, Marty expressed amazement at how quickly time has passed. “It’s been a whirlwind,” he said, noting that his early success with hits like “Teenager in Love” came as a surprise. “I never expected to be where I am today.”

Marty credits his longevity to honesty and authenticity. “I’ve always tried to be myself,” he explained. “I think people appreciate that.” His influences range from Elvis Presley to Pavarotti, and he’s still inspired by new artists.

Throughout his career, Marty has achieved numerous milestones, including performances at the Royal Albert Hall and before the Queen. He’s also proud of his daughter Kim Wilde’s success.
