Diamante burst onto the scene in 2017 with her hauntingly beautiful single “Haunted.” Her debut album, Coming in Hot, released under Better Noise Records on June 15, 2018, captured the attention of music enthusiasts worldwide.
The rising star’s collaborations have been equally impressive. In 2018, Diamante lent her powerful vocals to the Bad Wolves’ hit song “Hear Me Now,” which reached number one on active rock radio. She also embarked on a tour with Breaking Benjamin, showcasing her talent and promoting her album.
In a brave move, Diamante announced her departure from Better Noise Music on January 17, 2020. She released her first independent single, “Obvious,” under her own label, Anti-Heroine. The track resonated with fans, and an acoustic version was released on February 14, 2020.
Keeping the momentum going, Diamante released two more captivating singles in 2020. “Serves You Right,” dropped on April 17th, followed by “Ghost Myself” on May 29th. Fans couldn’t get enough of her unique sound and infectious energy.
Diamante’s love for timeless classics led her to release a stunning cover of the Goo Goo Dolls’ hit song “Iris” on July 10, 2020. The collaboration with Breaking Benjamin frontman Benjamin Burnley added a new layer of magic to the track.
In April 2021, the dynamic artist surprised fans again by announcing her second studio album, “American Dream.” The highly anticipated album, set to be released independently on May 7, showcases Diamante’s growth as an artist and her ability to captivate audiences with her raw talent.
Now, with the release of “1987,” Diamante takes us on a time-traveling adventure. The energetic single pays homage to the iconic records that shaped her musical journey. In a recent interview, she revealed, “I chose the year 1987 because that specific year birthed so many of my all-time favourite records, which have most inspired my own music. Writing this song was also a means of escape for me during what felt like a very heavy and anxious time. I remember sitting in the studio thinking about what it would be like to transport myself back to the 80s when everything seemed simpler and life had a little more sparkle.”
Before her latest release, Diamante delighted fans with “The Diamond Covers” EP. The collection features her fresh re-imaginations of beloved hits, including Michael Sembello’s “Maniac” from the iconic film Flashdance, Madonna’s unforgettable “Like A Prayer,” and Kate Bush’s ethereal masterpiece “Running Up That Hill.”
With her unique blend of powerhouse vocals, electrifying stage presence, and undeniable talent, Diamante continues to make waves in the music industry.
Be sure to check out her new single, “1987”, and embark on a nostalgic journey back to the golden age of music.
